Station Laundromat runs a simple marketing website for our laundromat in Freeport, NY. There are no forms, no accounts, and no checkout here — so we collect almost nothing about you. This page explains the little we do collect (anonymous analytics, and only if you accept cookies), what we never collect, and the choices you have. It covers this website only, not anything you do in our store.
What We Collect
Only if you accept cookies on our banner, we use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to collect anonymous usage data — so we can see which pages and buttons get used and improve the site:
- Anonymous page views — which pages you visit and how you move between them.
- Click events on a few key buttons: phone_click, directions_click, language_switch, and order_online_click.
- Approximate location — city level only, derived from your IP address. Your full IP address is not stored.
- Browser and device information — such as browser, device type, screen size, and operating system.
That is the complete list. If you decline cookies, none of it is collected.
What We Do Not Collect
To be unambiguous, this website does not collect any of the following: names, email addresses, phone numbers, payment information, Social Security numbers, dates of birth, passport or government ID numbers, precise geolocation, your browsing history outside our site, or purchase history. There are no forms anywhere on this site, so there is no way to submit personal information to us through it.
Cookies & Analytics
Analytics cookies load only after you click "Accept" on the cookie banner. When you accept, Google Analytics sets three cookies:

If you decline, or never accept, Google Analytics does not load and none of the cookies above are set.
Third-Party Services
Google Analytics provides the anonymous analytics described above, and only when you accept cookies.
Google Maps is embedded on our homepage and contact page. When a page with the map loads, content is requested from Google's servers, and that interaction is subject to Google's own policies.
Online ordering. When you use our online ordering service, you will be redirected to a third-party platform (currently a contact page; this will become Curbside, our booking platform partner). That platform operates under its own privacy policy, which you should review before using it.
Children's Privacy
This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. As noted above, the site collects no personal information from anyone. If you believe a child has somehow provided information through this site, contact us and we will address it.
Your Rights & How to Exercise Them
Under U.S. and New York law, you have the right to:
- Opt out of analytics — through the cookie banner or your browser settings, as described above.
- Ask what we have on file about you — which is next to nothing, since we don't collect identifiers.
- Ask us to delete any information associated with you.
California residents: the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the CPRA, gives you these same rights to know, delete, and opt out. We do not sell or share personal information.
